Artistic Adventures in Mixed Media is an exploration of multiple genres and mediums. Each week Lee takes you on a journey through a variety of mediums including acrylics, pastels, watercolour, charcoal, sketching and more.
All materials are supplied. Classes book out quickly and there is a maximum of 10 per class. AGCS have a thriving art program and I am very honoured to be facilitating the art sessions again in 2024. All Occasions Art Cards
Just in time for the festive season, join Lee as she shares making art cards, including collage, etching and a combination of watercolour and acrylics. Choose your theme whether it be festive, birthday or general cards. Enjoy two hours of creativity and great conversation each session. Not only will you learn new skills, but you will make new connections and reconnect with like-minded people and come away confident and inspired.

WALK IT, SNAP IT, PAINT IT |
How would you like to go on an exploration walk, capture your shots and then come and paint one of your snaps? Don't worry, the walk is easy and there are no hills. In fact, it is a stroll taking some photos and then return to the art hub to create our masterpiece.
Never painted before. That's okay, any level of experience can come along and enjoy exploring the creativity and fun. |
CREATIVE CIRCLE - TURN ART INTO PRODUCTS
BACK IN 2025
Start 2025 with creativity and fun. Lee hosts a small group at Art in the Garden Room for two hourly sessions of painting and exploring creativity.
Each week will be a new experience learning new artistic skills and honing current skills. All this is done while chatting and laughing and enjoying some "me time". Over the sessions we will explore acrylics, gouache, florals, continuous patterns, and artist choice. The final week is available to those that wish to take their artwork to the next level and create print on demand products to either sell or create for family and friends. This session will give you some great ideas on how to use those stored artworks that no-one is getting to enjoy. Not only will you learn new skills, but you will make new connections and reconnect with like-minded people and come away confident and inspired. CREATIVE CIRCLE - STILL LIFE
BACK IN 2025
Unlock your artistic talent with this three week journey through still life.
Are you ready to transform ordinary objects into extraordinary masterpieces?
Join in for an immersive 3-week workshop that will elevate your artistic skills and ignite your passion for still life artwork!
We will dive into the world of still life with guidance on composition, lighting, and background setup. Learn the secrets to creating a visually compelling display that tells a story through inanimate objects.
We explore a variety of mediums including watercolour to unleash the fluid beauty of watercolours as we focus on delicate colour blending and soft textures. Perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike. Moving into Gouache the opaqueness brings depth and vibrancy and finally we finish with acrylics.
Course Dates: Back in 2025

CREATIVE CIRCLE - EXPLORE YOUR STYLE
RETURNING IN 2025
Do you have a style? Have you wondered how other artists come up with subjects and styles? Are you longing to let your creativity come to the surface and do less copying of other people's art or photos?
Are you drawn to bright colour, abstracts, florals or the ocean? Do you love looking at the Masters of Art and wonder how they found their style? Watercolour, acrylics, pencil, charcoal, pastels or a mix, which medium do you prefer? In this course we will explore how to find your style. Looking at colour via a mood board will set the tone for the rest of the course. Exploring your style:

Creative Circle Enjoy a relaxing two hours of art in the garden room amongst the plants, looking out under the olive tree and across to a beautiful ever-changing view. Held between adult art class terms, each session of the creative circle will be dedicated to a particular medium, style, or activity. Enjoy great company, a cuppa and some fabulous creative time. All Creative Circle workshops have a limited number of attendees to ensure a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Creative Circle is held "off term" weeks. Lee chooses to use a secure booking site for all bookings. |
Aspendale Gardens Community Service - Art Hub * The Aspendale Gardens Community Service has an Art Hub offering adult classes in the morning and evenings for multiple genres.
